Carl Jara is a professional sand sculptor and woodworker from Cleveland, Ohio. He studied Illustration and Graphic Design in college, but soon he realized that he wanted to focus his efforts on enormous sand sculptures. His intention is to sculpt things with sand you would never expect to see – enormous sharks, mermaids, pirates, snakes, giant skeletons etc.
