César Ricardo Artaza - art

César Ricardo Artaza, known as Tito Artz, is an illustrator and graphic designer born in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the National University of Tucumán, specializing in engraving. He attended workshops for learning both traditional and digital techniques. The artist begins with traditional tools, mainly working in ink. Then he adds the digital tools to fix colors, textures and highlight. The works are very stunning and slightly alarming. César likes to create deities from our reality and mundane world, representing our fear and hope. His characters are often strange hybrids that combine the secular and the religious icons and contemporary characters with the aesthetics of science fiction.
