Christa van der Meer is a Dutch fashion designer with great ideas and distinctive style. She studied at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague. Later she did an internship at Henrik Vibskov in Copenhagen and studied at the Swedish School of Textiles. Since then she has been working on projects to connect her portrait drawings to her fashion designs. Iminjunju is Christa’s graduation project where she focuses on defining the relationship between her 2D and fashion design work. The result is a new experience of clothing through variety of patterns and colors. Her choice of colors gives delightful and playful harmony to this fashion collection, approaching the silhouettes as if they were portraits, while materials were used to frame the faces.
