David Garcia is a Miami-based installation artist and graphic designer. His project, titled “Runners,” is based on a Highway safety sing posted on States near the US-Mexico Border. The sign depicts a family running to cross the border in their pursuit of a better life or the so called “American Dream.” The artist took this symbol out of context and placed it in various circumstances.
