Mary Katrantzou is an amazing fashion designer born in Athens, Greece. She attended Rhode Island School of Design and then completed both her BA and MA at Central Saint Martins. There is a lot to be excited about for her followers. Mary has a unique signature style – the prints, the journeys, the motifs and the structure of her creations are always mesmerizing. By looking at these stunning pieces you are captivated with their breath-taking landscape patterns, vibrant flower color palettes, and the essence of realism. This is a complete and synchronized connection with nature, Japanese mystical lakes, and ethereal places. Katrantzou’s work has inspired Nick Knight’s SHOWstudio to release a fantastic new audio track, which is a remix of sounds recorded in her studio while the collection was being made. Captured noises include zips fastening, sewing machines working, paper patterns being cut, fabric tearing, and models’ heels clicking during the fittings. Some sounds appear exactly as they were recorded, while others have been stretched and manipulated by sound artist Stu Sibley to sound like beats or instruments.
