These magnificent creatures are the part of the wonderful world of Mister Finch who describes himself as “a male textile artist making fairy-tale creatures from the things he finds.”

Mister Finch lives in Leeds in Yorkshire, England. It is more surprising that he has no formal training in anything to do with sewing or his textile based work, Finch is a self-taught artist. His main inspirations come from nature, flowers, birds, and insects. When Mister Finch is not in his studio he is on the constant lookout for fabrics and textiles that he can use in his artwork. He says he loves the hunt and he is especially pleased to find vintage pieces to use.  Hares, foxes, wolves, rabbits, beetles, moths and butterflies, this fairy-tale woodland of creatures will capture your hearts for sure as they are magical and slightly eerie.
