These sumptuous shiny monsters are created by Philadelphia-based artist Adam Wallacavage. Adam taught himself the traditional techniques of ornamental plastering; while developing his own unique style, he continued experimenting in color, technique and form. The resulting sculptures show the influence of 16^th Century Baroque opulence and Gothic design which reflect his varied aesthetic interests. The octopus chandeliers are exquisite, bizarre and a little bit spooky.

Adam Wallacavage is also a talented photographer; he documents musicians, artists and skateboarders. His first book Monster Size Monsters was released in 2006.
