Simen Johan is a Scandinavian photographer and sculptor living in New York City. He attending film school in Sweden and moved to NYC in 1992 to continue his studies at School of Visual Arts. In his latest series ‘Until the Kingdom Comes’, Johan explores the natural world that surrounds us. “In a reality where understanding is not finite and in all probability never will be, I depict ‘living’ as an emotion-fueled experience, engulfed in uncertainty, desire and illusion,” he says.
