Arran Gregory’s Silky Animals
Arran Gregory is a London-based sculptor and illustrator. He graduated from Chelsea College of Art in 2009. With a futuristic approach to design, he tries to bring nature back into people’s lives. Massive forms, mirror, monotone colour palettes, glossy enamels, powerful animals and artificial fur are the parts of his works. Arran is strongly inspired by the natural world. He has always felt a strong sense of wellbeing when surrounded by forests or fields. Arran is also inspired by the idea of freedom and creativity. That’s why he uses nature and wild animals as the backbone of all his work. He likes the innocence and instinct that animals have. Arran thinks that humans have lost touch with nature.
